With a simple set of hand tools and step-by-step tuition, your traditional or personal design eveolves into a beautifully finished work of art filled with wairua (spirit, energy) and gives a profound insight into this ancient craft.
Working by hand (no screaming drills or dust clouds) gives the time to do a good job as well as absorb the atmosphere and knowledge of "The Bone Studio."
Many clients profess to have no artistic ability and so are quite amazed at what they achieve with a little hard work, a bit of fun, and experienced guidance.

Professional Course
(curriculum):
Full tuition with all materials supplied and professional result
Rates:
- These fees will cover all tuition, most materials, use of extra tools
[apart from personal tool kit] and webpage set-up
- Weekly fee: $600.00/week
- Personal tool kit: $300.00 (approx)
(including saw, files, graver set, cord, wet & dry paper, book, etc.)
- Funding may be available through several sources, i.e.,
- Scholarships (private foundations, etc.)
- Government, Councils, Creative NZ, WINZ, artist wage, etc.
- May be funded through sale of own work at end of course
(this course will pay for itself with the work produced worth at least as much as the fees - a good investment in the student's future) - Private funding
